The Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies is hosting Kaitlyn Purcell for a reading of her debut novel, ʔbédayine, winner of the 2018 Metratron Prize for Rising Authors. A proud member of Smith's Landing First Nation, in the Northwest Territories, Purcell is a PhD student at the University of Calgary studying Indigenous Literatures, Creative Writing, and Community-Based Learning.
